Bill slipped away from us on Sunday evening after a losing battle with Lewy-Body dementia. He loved me, our kids, his dog Jake, old cars, SU basketball and butterflies. He was a construction superintendent throughout his career.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Priscilla Aylesworth; children, Marnie Aylesworth (Sean Hogan), Lorrie Carr (Kevin Host), Amy Ernst (Kevin), Brian Aylesworth, Rebecca Gleffe (David); siblings, Carol Wojcikowski, Vincent Aylesworth and Paul Aylesworth as well as 12 grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 11am at Most Holy Rosary Church, 111 Roberts Ave, Syracuse. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 4-7pm at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave, Syracuse. Burial will be in Tully Cemetery.
