Virginia C. Kerwin, age 96 and a life resident of Westvale, passed away at St. Camillus on January 14, 2022. Virginia was predeceased by her loving husband, John, her parents, Peter and Julia Mussi, and siblings, Robert, Beverly, Peter and Julie.

A member of the Great Generation, Virginia grew up in Eastwood and graduated from Eastwood High School. During WWII she was employed by the U.S. Postal Service. Ginny later married and raised her four children. She also was employed by Westhill Schools Food Service, Syracuse China Corp., and EMKAY Candle. Many hours were spent on her expert sewing and knitting projects. She also enjoyed her many vacations to the beach with her daughters. Her dog, Teddy was very dear to her.

Virginia is survived by daughters, Donna (John) MacCaull and Kathy (Daivd) Feikert, and sons, John Jr. and James, all of Syracuse. In addition, she is survived by her 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A mass will be held at St. Charles Church on S. Orchard Rd on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 10am. Friends and family may gather from 9am to 10am prior to mass.
