Thomas Michael Saroney passed away peacefully on January 11, 2024 in Monroe, NC. Tom was born on August 2, 1948 in Syracuse, NY to Alyce and Edward F. Saroney, Jr. He graduated from Liverpool High School in 1966. Tom was a member of the popular 1960's rock band- The Strangers.  Upon graduation he moved to Colorado, living in Vail and Aspen for 30 years, employed as a chef.  Subsequently living in DE and PA.

Tom was predeceased by his parents.  He is survived by his brother, Edward F. (Mary) Saroney III, sister, Joanne (Janice) Saroney, sister-in-law, Jacquelyn Saroney, nephews, Edward IV and Jon, and nieces, Allison and Meredith.

There will be no calling hours. Services, a Catholic Mass and burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, will be held at a later date.
