Sydney M. Jankowski, 86, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2022 after a brief battle with cancer.

She was born March 27, 1935, to the late Margaret and Harold Martin of Seneca Falls, NY.  She spent her early years growing up in Seneca Falls and enjoying time with family and friends on beautiful Cayuga Lake.

She attended Mynderse Academy where she made lifelong friends that she continued to socialize and travel with until her early 80's.    She moved to Syracuse, NY upon graduation and worked at Carrier Corp.  In 1957 she married her husband of nearly 60 years Robert (Jake) Jankowski.  Together they had 4 children who brought her joy and happiness throughout her life.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert, daughter Elizabeth Ann Jankowski, sisters, Suzanne MacFall and Helen Jane Martin, and brother James Martin.

Syd is survived by her son, James (Ruth) Jankowski, daughters, Judy Jankowski and Elizabeth Helen (David) Herboldt.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Howlett Hill Road.
