Suzanne (Prybylski) DeMetro went home to the Lord on Sat., May 16th. Suzanne was raised in Syracuse where she attended St. Lucy's High School and graduated from Continental School of Beauty. She married the love of her life, Peter DeMetro in 1966. Together they built their life on the SW side of Syracuse. Suzanne worked at various salons throughout the Syracuse area, including Madamoiselle's, before she retired.

Suzie had a love of body building and worked very hard in the early 80's to become worthy of competing at various levels throughout the state, where she dominated the circuit throughout her body building career.

Suzanne will be forever missed for her infectious smile and laughter and for always making people feel loved and welcomed.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Peter and by many nieces, nephews, a cousin and many friends.

Suzanne was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Bertha and her sister, Beverly.

Her calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 from 3 to 5pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Syracuse, NY 13219.
