Stella Marie Giannino was born on April 6, 2022 to her loving parents Nell and Thomas Giannino in Syracuse, NY. She had the best big brother, Tommy. Stella left us on August 20th after fighting so hard to get better. Stella was born with a rare genetic condition, Kenny Caffey Syndrome, making her a special 1 in 1.6 million. Stella brought us such love and joy and gave us the strength we needed.

Stella is survived by her parents, Nell and Thomas Giannino and her brother, Tommy. Her grandparents, Joseph and Linda McMahon and Thomas and Rosaria Giannino. Her great grandmother, Joyce Farrell. Her aunts and uncles, Honora and Rene Marceau, Colin McMahon and Megan Giannino. Her three cousins, Adrien, Oliver and Gabriel Marceau who adored her.

Stella had a remarkable amount of people praying for her. We want to thank our incredible support system and Upstate Golisano's PICU staff for all they did to help our sweet girl.

There will be a private memorial mass at Most Holy Rosary Church to celebrate Stella's life. Donations in Stella's memory may be made to Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital.
