Sandra (Reagan) Case, of Syracuse passed away peacefully on Friday, December 15, 2023. She was 85 years old. She was a nurse, healthcare professional, and longtime volunteer for numerous charitable causes. Born in Syracuse, she graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius High school and attended Syracuse University. She worked at the Herald-Journal Newspaper where she met her beloved husband of 57 years Richard (Dick) Case.

Later in life, she returned to college, graduating from Onondaga Community College School of Nursing in 1985. She then began a career caring for elderly residents with special needs as a Site Manager for Loretto Community Residences. Sandra dedicated her off-hours to helping others, doing volunteer work for Contact, the Rape Crisis Center, Unity Kitchen, Literacy CNY, and many others.

She is predeceased by her parents, Francis and Jeannette Reagan, husband Richard Case, and many loving cats.

She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Case and Laurel Case (Michael Brennan), son Jonathan Case, grandson Ruairi Brennan, and brother Scott Reagan.

Calling hours will be held Monday December 18, 2023 from 4-7pm at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave.
