Ryan James Carroll, 52, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully after a short illness at Upstate University Hospital.

Born in Rochester, NY on November 6, 1971 to P. Timothy and Mary Anne (Rossi) Carroll, he was educated in Pittsford schools and is a graduate of LeMoyne College.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Riley Anne Carroll of Syracuse; his sister, Ashley Jane Hall and her husband, William of Atlanta; and his father, Tim. He is predeceased by his mother, Mary Anne. He is also survived by Riley's mother Chelsea and her loving parents, David and Barbara Kearney.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday December 5, 2023 at 11am in the St. Joseph Chapel at Most Holy Rosary Church, 111 Roberts Ave, Syracuse, NY 13207. The family will receive friends and relatives from 9-11am prior to the service. Burial will be private.
