Robert C. Walker, 74, of Syracuse passed away June 6, 2026.

Born in Syracuse, NY on June 16, 1951 to the late Edward & Eileen Walker, Bob was a graduate of Corcoran High School. He went on to work for Penn Traffic for 31 years followed by 10 years at the City of Syracuse in the Water Dept. Afterwards he had his dream job as a Greenskeeper at Bellevue Country Club. Bob enjoyed golfing, playing pool, taking pictures of sunsets and water towers. Above all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his parents, and brothers, Thomas, Mark and James.

Bob is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nancy (Bova) Walker; children, Meagan, Andy (Jen), Bobby (Katie) and Tim (Christine); grandchildren, Willow, Ruby, Ben, Mark, Hattie and Christopher; siblings, Jack (Marina), Billy (Sandy), and Dan (Linda) as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 12, 2026 at 9:30am at St. Patrick’s Church. The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 4-7pm at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Burial will be private. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Patrick’s- St Brigid's Food pantry or St. Patrick’s Church.
