Robert E. Krenrich, 86, of Onondaga County passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, April 9, 2026. Bob was a Navy Veteran (1959 -1963) and was retired from Niagara Mohawk.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. At home he was dedicated to maintaining his property, which he affectionately referred to as his "park".

Bob loved to golf in his Monday and Friday leagues. For more than thirty years he orchestrated an annual golf excursion to Myrtle Beach.

He was a voracious reader who possessed a wealth of knowledge. He maintained a diverse range of interests and hobbies, including wine making and enjoyed traveling the world with his beloved wife.

Bob was a coach to his children in sports and in life and was his grandchildren's biggest fan. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, family member, and friend. He was a great man who will be dearly missed.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, H. E. and Bernice Krenrich and in-laws, Morgan and Helen Michaels, sister and brother-in-law, Suzanne and Patrick Mathews.

He was survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Alice Krenrich, daughter, Debra Krenrich, sons, Michael (Bridget), Theodore (Rebecca) and Robert (Heather), 5 grandchildren, Kaitlin, Emily, Madeline, Charlotte and Ben, travel companions, his favorite-in-laws, Al (Judy) Michaels, 4 nephews and one niece.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026 from 3 to 6pm at Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave.
