Richard Shanahan, 86, of Syracuse, NY passed away peacefully at home after along illness on Thursday, August 20, 2026. Dickie will be missed sitting in his “assigned seat” at the bar in Dinosaur BBQ.

Predeceased by his parents, Paul and Helen and his daughter, Tiffany Watson.

Survived by his daughters, Anita (Andy) DiSalvo, and Natalie (John) Adams, 6 grandchildren, Carrie, Alex, Greg, Jake, Luke and Scarlett, 4 great grandchildren, sister, Carol Kleberg and a niece, Christine and nephew, David (Mary).

Services will be private.
