Richard D. Burgess, 62, of Syracuse, passed peacefully in his sleep, after a long illness, while at St. Joseph's Hospital on January 23, 2019. Rick is predeceased by his parents, Richard J. and Anne (Dwyer) Burgess. He is survived by his two sons, Shawn and Tim, 4 grandchildren, loving brother, Kevin (Laura Cummings), niece, Carly and nephews, Spencer and Jake.

Special thanks to Phil, Frank, Barb and friends who were like a second family to him.
