Phyllis A. Behan, 85, of Syracuse, NY died peacefully on May 13th 2023.

Born to Peter and Janice Anchikites in Leominster, Ma, moved to Syracuse, NY where she married Patrick Behan and raised their children on Tipperary Hill, she was active in church and the community. She retired from NY Tel after her husband died. She was lucky in life to find love with Ron Ryan where they enjoyed life in Port Orange, FL, attending races, cruises and traveling.

Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, Patrick, daughter, Kathleen, grandson, Patrick Gorman, partner- William "Ron" Ryan, brother, Peter Anchikites and parents, Peter and Janice (Hill) Anchikites.

She is survived by her children, Patrick Jr., Thomas (Rebecca), Mary (Mark) Gorman, and Kelly (Ed) Moriarty, grandchildren, Michael, Brenna, Molly, Kiley, Megan, Marnie, Tommy, and 9 great grandchildren and many extended family members.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 10am at St. Patrick's Church, 216 N. Lowell Ave. Syracuse, NY. Calling hours will be held prior at church from 9am to 10am.  Burial will be private.
