Peter Cenajko, age 74, of Syracuse, NY passed away January 14, 2021.  He was born in Hermagor, Austria and emigrated to the United States in 1951 where he was raised by the late, Stefan and Anna Cenajko.  He retired from Crucible Industries after 45 years of service.  In retirement, he would spend countless hours reading and listening to music (especially Bob Dylan) and making CD's for family and friends.  He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid golfer.  He was known as Grumpy to his grandchildren.

He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Patty Casey Cenajko.  Surviving in addition to his wife, Patty, are his daughters, Lisa Cenajko and Sara (Brian) Kees; sons, Daniel (Samantha) Cenajko and PJ (Megan) Cenajko; grandchildren, Katie, Colin, Ellie, and Callum; sisters, Hilde Wegner of Syracuse, NY and Anna Smith of Rochester, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express a special thank-you to all the staff at Crouse Hospital, especially Dr. Landsberg.

There will be no services.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Food Bank of Central New York.
