Neil C. Sullivan, 93, of Syracuse, NY passed away on August 8, 2022.

He was predeceased by his parents, Neil D. and Emma Sullivan. His wife, Thelma Gleason Sullivan passed away in 2017 after 59 years of marriage.

Neil was a lifelong resident of Syracuse, a graduate of St. Anthony's of Padua, served in the Army during the Korean war, was employed by the Syracuse fire department and retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1988.

He is survived by his six children, Denice Sullivan Linehan, Terry (Judy), Kathy (Vicki), Tim (Mary Ellen), Peggy Riggin (Mike) and Patrick (Dawn), seven grandchildren, Kristin (Cael) Johnson, Nicolette (Justin) Baratta, Lauren (Mike) Ehlers, Madeline, Emma, Katie, Casey Sullivan and one great granddaughter, Aurora Baratta.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday August 18, 2022 at 10am at Most Holy Rosary Church, 111 Roberts Ave. Calling Hours will be held Wednesday from 4-7pm at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
