Mary Kay Donnelly, 68, of Liverpool passed away peacefully on October 15, 2023, surrounded by her family. Mary Kay grew up in Syracuse and was a graduate of Bishop Ludden High School and Crouse Irving Nursing School.  She spent the majority of her career as an Emergency Room RN at Upstate Medical Center. She loved being with family and friends and enjoyed quilting and sewing, Mary Kay will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Mary Kay was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Peg Donnelly.  She is survived by her sole purpose and joy in life, her daughter, Jamie Donnelly Smith, her son-in-law, Stacy Smith, along with her sister, Carol, brothers, Pat (Laurie) and Brian (Deena), her nieces, Jill, Kim, Maggie and nephew, Kevin.

Calling hours will be Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 4-7pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home.  A brief tribute by the Nurses Association will be held at 5:30pm.  Burial services will be private.
