Mary Canetta, 91, of Syracuse, NY passed away Wednesday May 10, 2023.

She was born June 5, 1931 in Syracuse, NY to the Late James and Fannie Catanzarite. She was a graduate of North High. Mary Started her career in 1958 helping her husband grow and nurture Canettas Collision. She enjoyed shopping, golfing and traveling with her husband whether it was to Florida or all over the world. Her greatest joy was spending time with family.

Mary is predeceased by her husband, Robert Canetta.

She is survived by her son, Robert (Julie) Canetta, grandchildren, Tiffany and Justin, great Grandchildren, Adriana, Ava and Antonio as well as a cousin, Sandy Samora.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday May 13, 2023 at 10 at St. Cecilia's Church, 1001 Woods Road. The family will receive friends and relatives from 9-10am prior to the mass at church. The burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital.
