Mary Susan "Sue" Berkery  was born October 6, 1941 and died December 19, 2023.

Sue went to St. Lucy's High School, attended LeMoyne College and graduated from Oswego State (bachelors) and Syracuse University (masters).  She worked for the Syracuse City School District for 30 years.  Sue met the love of her life, Dick Berkery and they got married on February 24,1973.  After retirement, for the last twenty years, Sue and Dick spent their winters in Boyton Beach, FL. She radiated happiness and she spread happiness everywhere she went.

Sue was predeceased by her mother, June Moran and brother, Paul.

She is survived by her husband, Dick, sisters, Carol (Kevin) Kitridge and Kathy Hoey and many nieces and nephews.

A Gathering of Remembrance will be held on August 15, 2024 from 11am to 3pm at the Camillus Elks Lodge, 6117 Newport Rd, Camillus, NY.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Patrick's Food Pantry; 216 North Lowell Ave., Syracuse NY 13204
