Martha Lange, 69, passed away peacefully at home on January 2, 2021.  Martha was born in Syracuse on February 28, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Janice (Goodwin) Gabriel Jr. A lifelong resident of Syracuse, she graduated from Nottingham High School in 1968. She worked at Upstate Medical Center for over 40 years as a Cardiac Echo Technician and most recently worked for the Syracuse Veterans Affairs Medical Center, a job she truly loved. Martha enjoyed beach vacations and holidays with her family. Always kind and quick with a good joke, her humor and zest for life was contagious.

Martha is survived by her husband of 43 years, Christopher; her children, Jeff (Amanda); Carolyn (Trevor), Craig (Alyssa) and her three grandchildren; Georgia, Alistair and Evie. She was one of four children, survived by Elizabeth and Arthur and predeceased by Katharine.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 4 to 7pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave.
