Mark G. Chilton, 61, of Syracuse passed away peacefully on February 2, 2023 at University Hospital.

Born in Syracuse on September 20, 1961 to the late Jerome and Anne Chilton. He was a life resident and a graduate of Corcoran High School. He went onto attend LeMoyne College and St. Bonaventure University before beginning his career at Upstate Medical University where he worked for 30 years.

Mark was predeceased by his parents, a brother, Jerryand his sister, Kathleen Ruskowski.

He is survived by his wife Joanne (Phelan) Chilton, children, Becki and Dan, brother Matthew, sister-in-laws Donna Chilton, Mary Phelan, brother-in laws, Jay (Mary) Phelan, Ed (Kathy) Phelan and several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to friends of Second Chance Canine Adoption Shelter or Solvay Fire Dept.
