Louise Morabito Meagher, born 4/26/31, passed away 8/15/20, peacefully after a long siege with Dementia.  She died at home with her truly devoted family present.

She is survived by her children, Robert Morabito (Marla), Mara Morabito, and Marcia Morabito (Bill); her husband, John "Nellie" Meagher; stepchildren, Marty Meagher, and Amy Meagher-Greco (Matt), several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Morabito and their son, JR Morabito.

Louise worked for the Onondaga County Sheriff's Department as a court attendant.  She received a Medal of Distinguished Service Award. She ran a tight ship in court.  Pity the person on Jury Duty that didn't obey her rules.  She had admonished the Jury Foreman, "Nellie" who took "a long lunch."  He got even and married her in 1988.

Dear Lord, thank you for Louise, she brought nothing but joy and happiness to her family and many friends.  We thank Hospice and Pastor Mike for his calming presence over the last few weeks and extend a big thanks to all Louise's caregivers for their tender care.

May you rest in peace, Weezy, you will truly be missed.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 10am at St. Joseph's Church, Camillus, NY. Calling hours will be 4 to 7pm on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave.  Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer's or Hospice of CNY.
