Leon E. Gordon, 89, of Syracuse, NY passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at home, surrounded by his family. He was a corrosion technician with NFG and a past member of Pine Grove GC, Tanner Valley GC and Camillus, GC. He was a US Army veteran from 1960 to 1963 before going into the reserves. Leon loved golf, hanging out with his family and a good steak.

Leon was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Anna, and brothers, Frank and Henry.

He is survived by his loving wife, Elaine P. Gordon, children, Brian (Laurie) Gordon, Michelle Philips, Andrea Row, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 from 3 to 5:30pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Services will be held at 5:30 at the funeral home.
