Kathleen M. Góngora, 73, of Syracuse passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 28, 2019. Kathie was retired from Group Operations Insurance Agency where she worked as an office manager.   She was a life long resident of the Valley and a member of St. James Church.

Kathleen is predeceased by her parents, H. Richard and Marcella Palmer, sister, Lynda M. Palmer and brother, H. Richard "Bud" Palmer.  She is survived by her son, Rafael (Kristine) Góngora, "son," Thomas (Basia) Grigson, and grandchildren, Gabriella and Alexander.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 10am at St. Joseph's Church, Camillus.  Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 8th from 4 to 7pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Spring burial will be private.
