Joanne Collins Cowlin, 73, of Syracuse, NY passed away peacefully Sunday November 29, 2020 at home surrounded by her loved ones.

Joanne was a 1965 graduate of St. Patrick's High School. She worked as a nurse at Crouse Hospital before going onto a long career in home nursing care. Joanne was a member of the Tipp Hill Neighborhood Association, St. Charles Funeral Guild and was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church. She also enjoyed knitting, reading, puzzles and spending time with her family.

Joanne is predeceased by her parents Frank & Emily Collins.

She is survived by her husband Paul; children, Brian, Bridget & John.

Calling Hours will be held Thursday December 3, 2020 from 4-7pm at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave, Syracuse. Due to restrictions a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick's & St. Brigid's Church. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Syracuse. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, PO Box 631 Buffalo, NY 14240.
