Jennifer Lynn Hamel, 47, of Auburn, NY passed away peacefully August 20, 2022, in Auburn Community Hospital surrounded by her children, family and loved ones.

Jennifer dearly loved her children, Mylinh and Mason and was a proud grandmother to baby Sariah. She loved her animals too.  She had three German Shepherds and a cat she so adored.  There was never a night that she wasn't listening to her 'oldie but goodies' 90's music and inviting you to play a game of UNO.  She never hesitated to tell anyone that her favorite dessert was coconut cream pie.  Jennifer worked for the U.S. Postal Service for many years.

She is predeceased by her parents, Bernard and Nancy Hamel (Hook) and survived by eight siblings: Michael (Meredith) Hamel of Hollywood, FL; Thomas (Cynthia) Hamel of Syracuse; Theresa Hamel (Gerard) Athaide of Towson, MD; John Hamel, of Syracuse; James Hamel of Baldwinsville; NY; Brigitte Hamel of Ballston Spa, NY; Anne Marie (James) Porillo of Syracuse, NY and Brendan Hamel of Atlanta, GA.

The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation for the dedicated and loving care provided by the staff, especially Chris and Nikki, at Auburn Community Hospital.

A private celebration of life was held August 21st.
