Frances R. McGivern, 71, of Syracuse, NY passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2020.  Fran was employed at Unity Mutual Life for over 20 years.  She was a communicant of St. Charles Church and a member of the Boy Scouts Solvay Troop 172 for 25 years.

Fran was predeceased by her husband, Robert Philips, parents, Caroline and Francis G. McGivern, and step mother, Helen Bogart McGivern, and step brother, David Bogart. She is survived by daughter, Guadalupe (Craig) Jankiewicz, son, Anthony R. McGivern; grandchildren, Magdalena L., Robert N., Nathaniel N., and Craig J. II; siblings, Barbara Russell, Dennis (Debi) McGivern, Deborah (Stanley) Simon, Beth (Robert) Capella, and Matthew (Leigh) McGivern and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
