On August 7, 2023, Frances E. Taylor, née Golder, passed away at the Menorah Park nursing home at the age of 90.

She was a graduate of Syracuse University where she met her husband, Donald, of some 56 years. While Don was in the Air Force for six years as an optometrist, they resided in Wyoming and Germany.  She was a devoted wife and mother to her three children: Lon Taylor, Wendy Taylor, and Jill Howell.

She is predeceased by her husband Donald and daughter Wendy.

She left behind Lon, Jill and her husband David Howell, as well as five grandchildren.

Among her many interests, Frances enjoyed traveling, skiing, the Jersey Shore, reading (especially mysteries), crossword puzzles, Syracuse football and basketball, and contract bridge. She was an exuberant resident of Menorah and a good conversationalist. She will be deeply missed.

A graveside service will be held at 10 am this Tuesday at St. Mary's Cemetery in DeWitt.
