Evelyn N. Fremont, 85, of Syracuse, NY passed away after a valiant fight against cancer at the Francis House on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.  Breaking down barriers and setting a precedent, she was celebrated as the first woman Sales Representative hired by Max Factor.

Evelyn is predeceased by her beloved husband, Daniel A. Herrmann and two siblings.

She is survived by her son, Edward Krystofik, her sister, Diana Lynn (Keith) Schendel, 5 nieces and nephews including her cherished niece, Charlene (Gary) Savage. Evelyn was a great aunt to 13 nieces and nephews and a great great aunt to 20 nieces and nephews whom she adored. Additionally, a group of loving and loyal friends, Kathleen Rodgers, Gitti McLaughlin, and Kelly Kelly.

All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Always remember to enjoy every day to the fullest as the trolley is coming one day and it came for Evelyn, so she jumped on.
