Donna Mattison Liddle, of DeWitt, New York, was born in Madison, Wisconsin, on November 15, 1943. She passed peacefully in her sleep on the morning of August 29, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard B. Liddle.

She was the loving mother of Rob Warshal (Wendy) of Dearborn, Michigan; Matt Warshal (Christine Cassidy) of Camillus, New York; and Kate Liddle (Becky Groat) of Baldwinsville, New York. She also lovingly embraced Dave Liddle (Oneida), Judy Kopp (Dick) of Cazenovia, New York, Matt Liddle (Nina) of Nantucket, Massachusetts, and Bill Liddle (Amanda) of Nantucket, Massachusetts as part of her family.

She is survived by her eight grandchildren: Alex and Nathan Warshal; Maggie Liddle; Connor, Peter, and Tucker Kopp; and Samuel and Louisa Liddle.

She enjoyed many things throughout her life, especially shopping, musicals, and music. She valued her friendships and made time for the people who were important to her. Above all, she enjoyed being with her family and staying connected to the people she loved.

She is also survived by extended family and friends who will remember her and the many years they shared with her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McHarrie Life Foundation/Syracuse Home, in appreciation of the exceptional care and compassion they provided to her and our family as she navigated Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

Calling hours will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on October 17, 2026, at Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13219. A service celebrating her life will follow at 4:00 p.m.
