Dianne Dittman Conole, 81, passed away at Crouse Hospital with her husband Chuck and daughter Kate beside her.

Dianne was born, raised and educated in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is the daughter of the late Arthur and Ethel Dittman. Dianne graduated from the University of Cincinnati's College of Conservatory of Music with a BS in Musical Education. She earned her Masters from Xavier University in School Administration. She taught music for Cincinnati Public Schools. It was at Xavier University where she met her future husband Chuck. They married in 1966, moved to Michigan and finally settled in Syracuse. After her children were older she taught music for several Syracuse Catholic Schools for 16 years. Dianne devoted herself to homemaking and raising her children. Her interest were sewing, gardening and reading.

Dianne is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years Chuck; children, Patrick, Michael (Debra), Catherine (Kevin) Ryan, Anne (Andrew Steiner), Lynne (Brian) Henry; grandchildren, Zachary, Jackie, Caitlin, Rory, Matthew, Patrick, Danny, Cormac, Charlie, Maeve; a brother, David (Maureen) as well as two nieces Megan and Cara.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday August 6, 2021 at 10am at Most Holy Rosary Church, 111 Roberts Ave, Syracuse. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Most Holy Rosary School, 1031 Bellevue Ave, Syracuse, NY 13207.
