David J. Joly, 69, of Onondaga passed away Sunday, 8-23-2020.

David was a graduate of Central Tech High School, served in the US Navy (1969-1971). He retired from The City of Syracuse after over 30 years of employment.  He spent life enjoying the solitude of nature and sharing his passions of bow hunting and fishing with those he loved.

He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Joan Joly and a brother, Vincent.

David is survived by  a daughter, Bethany (Rich) Creaser; a son, Chris (Kate); grandchildren Elisabeth, Belle, Olivia, Nate, Avery, Addison; sisters, Charlotte, Theresa and Suzanne; brothers, Tim and John as well as many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday August 28, 2020 from 5-6:30pm at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. A memorial service will be held at 6:30pm immediately following the visitation. Burial will be private.
