David James Burns, 85, of Syracuse passed away Friday February 11, 2022.

He was a graduate of Cathedral High School and LeMoyne College. He worked at Sterio's Landmark and Elite Abstract. He was an avid golfer and loved playing throughout Central New York. His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.

David is predeceased by his parents, Elizabeth and Joseph Michael Burns, a brother Joseph Burns and a nephew Michael Burns.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Conroy, daughters, Mary Patricia (Donald) Kelly, Kathleen (Patrick) Fallon, son, Joseph Burns, grandchildren, Mary & Kate Fallon, James Kelly, brother, Thomas (Mary) Burns, sister, Mary Beth (Clark) Horan, sister-in-law Johanne Burns, brother-in-law Jim Conroy, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday February 18, 2022 at 10am at St. Patrick's Church, Syracuse. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Skaneateles.
