Obituary

Charles "Chuck" Jones, 34, of Syracuse passed away Saturday June 10, 2023.


Chuck was born on May 29, 1989 in Syracuse, NY to William Jones and Sharon Sharp. He was a graduate of Marcellus High School. He was an avid lacrosse and football fan. Chuck was an artist and enjoyed pinstriping, sandblasting art as well as drawing.


He is predeceased by grandparents, Paul and Helen Lambertson, grandfather, Charles Benjamin Jones, Sr. uncle, Charles Benjamin Jones, Jr.


Chuck is survived by parents, William and Sharon (Robert) Sharp, brother, Robert Jones, stepbrother, Zach Sharp, stepsister Nicole (Tim) Martin, niece, Emma Jones, grandmother, Helen Jones, aunts, Mary Eastman, Lucy Hawkins, Mary Jones, Arlene Bart, uncles, Paul Lambertson, Dave Lambertson and Tom Wilson as well as several cousins.


Calling hours will be held Friday June 16, 2023 from 4-7pm at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. A prayer service will follow immediately at 7pm. Burial will be held at 11am at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Geddes, NY.


In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Chuck's Memory to "Marcellus Sports Booster Club" Attn: Boys Lacrosse, 1 Mustang Hill Marcellus, NY 13108.
