Charles “Chuck” Grimsley, 80, of Strathmore, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 24, 2026.

Chuck enjoyed boating, golfing, fishing, tennis, and watching sports. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and brother, as well as an animal lover who always made sure the family dog was well cared for.

He was predeceased by his son, Robert; his sister, Ann; and his parents, Russell and Dorothy.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; his daughter, Kim; his stepson, David; six grandchildren; his sisters, Dorthy and Alicea (Kelley); special cousin, Terry and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Chuck’s memory may be made to the Central New York Food Bank, 7066 Interstate Island Road, Syracuse, NY 13209.
