Carolyn Ann Dougherty passed away on the morning of July 5th 2021. Born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, Carol lived the majority of her life in Syracuse, NY, surrounded by her friends and family. A graduate of Crouse Irving nursing school in 1962, Carol was a skilled and compassionate caregiver for most of her life. Carol worked at the Crouse Irving Surgical Center for thirty-five years. She loved traveling, reading, antiquing and attending Our Lady of Hope Church in Syracuse, NY. She is survived by her sister, Patricia (Thomas) Donegan, nephews, Thomas (Susan), Joseph, Sean (Colleen), and Martin (Kari) Donegan, as well as three great nephews, and seven great nieces. Private services were held.
