Betty Jane Butler, 84, of Syracuse passed away Sunday June 21, 2020. Betty worked several years at New York Janitorial as a bookkeeper. She pursued a degree in Social Work obtaining her Master's degree from Syracuse University. After receiving her degree, Betty worked for several agencies dealing with alcoholism and chemical dependency including Onondaga County and Oswego County Council on Alcoholism, Tully Hill Treatment Center and as a counselor at Onondaga Nation. She is survived by her son, Paul (Judy) Butler, daughter, Diane Augone, 8 grandchildren and several great children.

Calling hours are July 10, 2020 from 9:30 to 10:30am followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00am at St. Cecilia's Church, Solvay.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt.
